Precision Roll Solutions is hiring a Business Development Lead for a full-time remote opportunity.This position is preferably located in the southeastern US, close to the client market and a major airport.
As the Business Development Lead, you will establish and maintain robust industry familiarity and relationships in order to gain an authoritative understanding of sales opportunities. This is a new position that entails build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities. The Business Development Lead will identify sales opportunities and provide those opportunities to Technical Sales to provide related quotes and complete the sales process.

Increase sales growth and market penetration.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the needs, selling process and expectations of the markets.
Implement a robust lead generation process to drive sales growth.
Maintain current and accurate pipeline forecasts, and lead and prospect reports.
Work with the appropriate team members to successfully introduce new products to market.
Work with the team to effectively respond to customer opportunities, particularly where guidance for special pricing or product modifications are required.
Identify and develop new ways to grow through share gain and identify new market opportunities (verticals, solutions, customer types).
Maintain market and competitor intelligence.
Develop networks towards sourcing for new clients.
Work independently on customers’ needs.
Sell the ideals and services of the business organization to the general public towards improving on sales generation.
Attract, as well as retain clients by working with VP of Business Development on developing highly creative outreach strategies.
Work in line with the operational procedures of the organization towards its revenue generation and sales growth goals as set forth by the VP of Business Development.
Experience in global companies producing complex, highly engineered products, and that are known for Lean, Continuous Improvement, and High Performance, is more critical than specific industry segment experience. Strong sales leadership is required.
Experience working with OEMs and larger industrial corporate clients directly.
Five or more years of business development experience.
Success in having shown profitable revenue growth in a business year over year despite highly competitive markets.
Strong negotiation skills are also required and must be an analytical problem solver.
Have experience in building business partnerships.
Must be able to work closely with a team of salespeople, management, and lower-level employees.
Have experience securing contracts with new customers
Demonstrated success in market segmentation.
Excellent track record of establishing strong customer relationships; develop and maintain a network of contacts within and outside of the company.
Growth-oriented and dynamic to meet up with the pace of competitors
Must possess very strong background experience in business development and sales; should also demonstrate such experience.
Must have been involved in professional service settings and B2B.
Required to possess some level of account management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Successful track record in high-performing companies where stretch goals are the norm.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, including at least 5 years in client relationship management, professional services, business development, and B2B sales.
As this is a new position at PRS, a desire, and interest in operating in an environment with significant “white space” while also effectively collaborating with the existing customer-facing team members.
