Fire Sprinkler Service and Install Technician - Hiring Bonus Available
What you'll be doing:
Provide service and/or repair of overhead wet-pipe, dry-pipe and pre-action fire sprinkler systems
Provide service on systems, retro-fits, tenant improvements and residential dwellings
Build rapport and respect with customers to ensure long relationships
Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following OSHA and company safety programs
What you should bring:
Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25.
Ability to be compliant with code and remain up to date with current fire suppression systems and sprinkler heads. Working knowledge in the installation of Steel pipe, CPVC, C-900 & ductile iron piping.
Working knowledge and understanding of how to read and interpret fire sprinkler and architectural plans.
Ability to solve problems using NFPA code Knowledge of alarm systems.
Ability to verify system function by testing equipment, connections and signals Identify and correct any problems.
Ability to maintain electronic records by documenting installations.
Must posses a strong understanding of the service process, internal drive, accountability, persistence and a “customer first” attitude, exceptional communication, organizational skills and attention-to-detail, as well as a professional presentation at all times.
Need to be flexible in regards to work hours and the willingness to work in an on-call rotation.
Ability to maintain current licenses and certification, and when required, obtain additional licenses and certifications.
Ability to learn new skills and technology.
2-3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.
WA State Fitters card.
Must be able to obtain NICET II certification within 9 months of start date.
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
