The City of Winchester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Engineer I, II or III, as part of the City’s Public Services Engineering team. Under the supervision of the City Engineer, this position performs technical work related to plan review, water and sewer design, utility system modeling, drafting, cost estimating, and project management, as well as assisting with stormwater, right-of-way and floodplain management programs. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Engineer-In-Training certificate issued by a State Board of Engineering Examiners, and a valid driver’s license. Professional Engineering license preferred. Must obtain DEQ erosion control and stormwater certifications within one year of hire.
