We are seeking highly motivated, experienced engineers to join the Transportation team. Primary duties of the Transportation Engineer position include:
Technical reviews of transportation/traffic plans and traffic impact studies;
Transportation plans and projects including:
Traffic signal design, operation and maintenance;
Roadway/intersection design and inspection, and
Construction management and cost estimates.
Transportation modeling and planning.
Qualifications required: BSCE with minimum 2 to 5 years transportation experience, EIT certificate and AutoCAD proficiency. Working knowledge of HCS, Synchro and MUTCD are a plus.
More advanced qualifications are highly preferred, including: N.J.P.E. license; PTOE and IMSA Level 1 or higher; working knowledge of AASHTO and adaptive signal systems, and experience with grant writing.
Starting salary will reflect education and experience.
