The Department of Biology is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Timko.  The individual will join a well-established research program aimed at understanding the biosynthesis of terpenes and other secondary metabolites in leaf and floral trichomes that impact flavor and aroma characteristics of plants. The position is focused on both understanding and manipulating trichome biology and metabolic activities in tobacco. The position has an anticipated start date of March 15, 2022.
