Sr. Process Engineer

Aligned to core business goals, the senior process engineer is responsible for identifying and leading transformation efforts to the business operating model and user experience.  The senior process engineer will be expected to leverage data and analytics to remove friction from existing processes, design optimal experiences, and generate positive ROI.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Leverage the DMAIC methodology to lead cross-departmental improvement projects to desired outcomes with an emphasis on data driven decision making and delivering an exceptional customer experience

• Partner closely with business and technology teams throughout the organization in identifying the needs and goals for effective transformation

• Interact and communicate effectively with team members ranging from associates through senior leadership in performing work and providing updates

• Perform process mapping, data analysis, root cause analysis, brainstorm sessions, and leverage process tools as part of defining and re-engineering

• In partnership with the transformation director and team, work to continuously identify future transformational opportunities and benefits, including appropriate automation & AI opportunities

• Train, mentor and coach Lean Six Sigma trainees & junior team members

Qualifications:

• 6 years or more as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required

• 6 years or more experience leading transformational business improvement required

• Ability to lead and influence enterprise stakeholders and senior leadership

• Project management experience

• Experience with reporting and analytics

• Proficiency using Visio, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Strong relationship builder

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Financial services experience preferred
