About Coldwell Banker Tulsa
Sam Rader and Terry Gartside are the Principals behind Coldwell Banker Select, Oklahoma’s leading residential real estate brokerage.
Sam Rader, originally from Missouri, came to Tulsa in 1978 with his wife, Barbara, and three girls, Sarah, Shelley, and Stacey, to begin his real estate career as Jones & Co, Realtors. In April 1985, he changed the name to RaderGroup, Realtors, and on May 1, 1989, affiliated as Coldwell Banker RaderGroup. In 2008, Coldwell Banker RaderGroup merged with Terry Gartside Realtors, and purchased Marolyn Pryor Realtors, OKC, marking this as the largest real estate merger in Oklahoma history. The company name changed to the current Coldwell Banker Select.
Sam has been very involved with Young Lives, Hope Pregnancy Center, Tulsa Bible Church and was an Alexis de Tocqueville contributor to the United Way. He has served as President on local and state Realtor boards, such as Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors (GTAR), the Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Executive Committee, and Regional VP for NAR, serving Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas. Sam Rader’s commitment to his community and his industry ...is unparalleled.
In 1972, Terry Gartside, full of determination and big dreams, began his career with Carriage Company, Realtors and soon became their sales manager in Tulsa. After a few years he moved to Sand Springs and started Terry Gartside Realtors. With his wife Carolyn and children, Pete & Mark Galbraith, Amanda, and Carrie, Terry invested his life in Tulsa’s west side. With his knowledge, and leadership, Terry Gartside Realtors secured a 50% market share of the west side communities. His industry leadership positions include Past Commissioner for the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC), President of Greater Tulsa Area Realtors (GTAR), President of the Oklahoma Association of Realtors (OAR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR) President. Both Sam and Terry have been honored as GTAR “Realtor of the Year” as well as OAR “Realtor of the Year.”
