We are currently seeking a talented, passionate and creative Lighting Designer to join our New York studio. The successful candidate already has a basic familiarity with drawing production, specification writing, detailing, calculations, presentations, and renderings. Ability to demonstrate an innovative thought process, and illustrate lighting design concepts is essential. You will be given as much responsibility for projects as you are capable of assuming, and you will have an opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of lighting design alongside a dedicated team of designers.

One Lux Studio offers a full benefit package, combined with a positive working environment. Salary will be commensurate with ability and experience. International candidates are welcome to apply, but you need to be legally authorized to work in the United States, and have English language proficiency.

Bachelors’ degree in Architectural Lighting Design and 1-2 years’ experience in the field of architectural lighting design is desired; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS/CC, MS Office and working knowledge of Revit, AGi32 and is required; experience with COMcheck is a plus; understanding of or experience with 3D modeling programs like Rhino, Sketchup or 3DsMax is desirable.
