SCMA is seeking an executive leader to drive and expand the association’s impact and market share. The President will lead and grow the organization to achieve SCMA’s mission and growth strategy, while building SCMA’s reputation as a thought leader and resource to the concrete construction industry. The President will shape SCMA’s future in collaboration with the Board of Directors and the support of an outside Association Management Company and Marketing Firm.

Work Location and Physical Demands
The location of this job must be in or near Charlotte, NC or within the five represented states to best serve SCMA’s southeast region. A home office may be required.
Education and Experience
10 years or more related industry experience strongly preferred.
Master’s in Engineering, Architecture, or related field strongly preferred. A P.E. or other professional license is strongly preferred.
Telecommuting is allowed.

The Southeast Concrete Masonry Association (SCMA) is a non-profit trade organization formed to promote the quality use of masonry materials and technical data as well as the economic advantages and many uses of concrete masonry units, designs and codes for residential and commercial concrete construction. SCMA is involved in a broad range of research items, technical, educational, marketing, government relations and industry communications activities. SCMA membership is composed of concrete block plants in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, as well as companies who supply aggregates, cement, mortar mix, equipment, admixtures, materials and services to our industry.
